Text Box: On a May 9, 2008, the pool house shed was
delivered.  It was a chilly and very rainy day, but C&H Supply did a great job getting the shed here and placed into the proper place.  The shed is much bigger than the old one and has plenty of room for our snacks, refrigerator, pool gear, and staff.  Special thanks to C&H Supply for doing such a great job on building the shed to our
specifications.

Notice: Due to the time it takes the two of us to put these newsletters together, along with our volunteer work on the boards, there will only be two edition a year.

For the first time in years, the pool
opened ON TIME on Memorial
Day Weekend.  The weather was
gorgeous and it was a great weekend
for sunbathers; however, the water
was extremely cold (as you can see by the pictures of the brave swimmers)!  This writer actually got numb toes when putting her feet in the water.

Our season was well attended.  We only had to close less than a handful of days due to weather and no closures due to lack of staff.  Our pool managers this year were:  Chris Gallo, Connie Citro, Sandy Ault, and Amy Hartman.  Our lifeguards were:  Bryan Crowe, Meagan Kauffman, Katie Heubisch, Jamie Hall, Julia Gallo, Zach Eaton, Ethan Johnson, and Sean Kelly.

The season ended just as glorious as it began.
The weather was beautiful; the water was cold.
All said, it was another good season at the Blue
Ridge Acres Pool.
