The spring clean up was not one of the
more successful events.  About a handful
of people showed up to try to get the
pool ready for the season.  Some things
took a little longer due to the shortage of volunteers, but we did get the pool opened on time.  The plants were planted but didn’t last long as someone decided to pull them out of the ground.  We try to make improvements but its hard when people don’t respect the property of others.

The other event that was not as well attended as we would have thought was the Member Appreciation Day July 4th weekend.  We attribute this to possible bad timing on our part as
people were probably out of
town.  We will plan on doing
this again next year and will
pick another weekend to hold
the event.
