Easter Egg Hunt

 

We presented a plaque to our senior lifeguard, Bryan Crowe.  This was Bryan last year after 3 years of working for the Club and being a great mentor for the younger kids.

Teen Party—Kids Party—Adult Party—Family Movie Night—Horton BBQ

Some of the other successful events from this summer were the Teen Pool Party, the Kids Pool Party, the Adult Pool Party, the Family Movie Night, and the Famous Clay Horton Chicken BBQ.  All of the pool parties were well attended and enjoyed by all.  These parties were open to all
Blue Ridge Acres resident.

We sold 110 half chickens for the
Chicken BBQ.  This was an excellent
fund raiser for the club.  We plan on
doing this again.

Our next event and final for the year
will be Halloween Trick or Treat.

Our most successful event this
year was the Annual Easter Egg
Hunt. The weather great even
with snow, hail and sunshine all
in about an hour.  We had about
25 children that attended and all
eggs were found.  We held a
couple of contests - one was
to find the "special" egg and
the other was the "guess the
jelly bean" count jar.  We also
had two piñatas, one for the
younger kids and another for
the rest.  The big piñata was
made a little to strong by Amy
Hartman and it took Brittany
to finally break it open for all
the kids.

The winners of the Special Eggs were
Zane Hall and Emma Welch.  The
winner of the Jelly Bean Jean was
Dalton Wayne Ison.
